Job Summary:
To assist the Tax Manager in areas of tax compliance and implementation of tax plans. Responsibilities include review of VAT, customs and employee related tax issues.
 
Relationships:
Reports to the GeoMkt Tax Manager or Area Tax Manager.

Responsibilities:
Essential Responsibilities and Duties:
* Reviews and files fiscal accounts, tax returns and tax payments in compliance with local regulations.
* Reviews intercompany agreements and practices.
* Audits internal compliance with tax regulations.
* Reviews FP8 and defines practice for recording tax provisions in accordance with policy.
* Recommends and implements tax plans.
* Reviews employee related withholdings and tax related issues.
* Raises awareness of corporate structure and tax strategy.
* Develops strategy and implement plans to optimize company's future tax position
* Supports operations in the planning process, setting up new operations, and in the reviewing of client bids and client contracts.
* Provides liaison for and monitors local tax audits.
* Understands, reviews, implements, complies, assists in the development of Sarbane Oxley requirements as defined in the risk control matrix.
* May participate in centralized recruiting events, eg career fairs, first/second interviews etc
* Complies with applicable company policies, including Personnel, Quality System and Health, Safety and Environment standards and procedures.
* Successfully complete required safety training (including but not limited to drugs and alcohol, electrical, emergency response, fire, first aid, health and hygiene, PPE, SIPP, risk reporting, IT security, hazardous materials, driving).

Requirements:
Must be willing to work in Bà Rịa-Vũng Tàu.
 
Previous Experience and Competencies:
Finance or Accounting Degree or Tax Accounting Degree
 
Competencies to be kept current:
At least 3 year(s) of working experience in a financial role
 
Behavior:

Cross Discipline: Understanding of interaction with other disciplines, Company strategy and the principles of Quality Management.
