to global and regional expansion we currently require a suitably
qualified, experienced, and highly motivated Commercial Manager for our
SE Asia Regional operations.
Finance and Commercial Manager
Bangkok (Thailand)
Responsibilities:
Reporting
to the Regional Director the role will incorporate complete management
of the regional (Thailand, Indonesia, Vietnam , South Korea , Malaysia,
Singapore) fiscal reporting both internally and externally, whilst
providing appropriate advice and information necessary to facilitate the
increasing level of regional cross border transactions within legal and
competitive parameters.
Requirements:

Candidate
must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma,
Professional Degree, Finance/Accountancy/Banking or equivalent.

At least 10 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.

Preferably Senior Managers specializing in Finance - Audit/Taxation or equivalent.

Being the
acknowledged point of contact and communication for all accounting and
financial matters between Fircroft SE Asia and UK head office
-
Managing and
coordinating any disputes or areas of concern between UK head office and
the region, in a clear, professional and timely manner

Providing advice and
assistance to Regional Director and country/business managers to ensure
fiscal compliance for existing and new cross-border business proposals
such that this can be included in commercial proposals. This includes
items such as VAT, WHT, Corporate Income Tax

Assisting Regional
Director and Commercial Director in suggesting, planning , and
implementing tax efficiencies for regional business transactions

Assisting in the preparation of new tenders and contracts
-
Co-ordinating budgets
and sales forecast reviews on a periodic basis, within specific time
frames and to required level of detail

Ensuring efficiency of contractor payroll processes

Ensuring that
companies end or year accounts are audited in accordance with individual
country practices and head office parameters

Involvement in the sourcing of financing or funding for the business and as directed by head office

Visiting clients as required for any invoicing, payment, credit control or other associated matter

Advising Regional
Director of any regional inter-office business opportunitiesManaging
Thailand and regional office accounting teams , ensuring KPI delivery
through appropriate coaching and mentoring in accordance with company
policy and practices

Be prepared to travel regionally and globally as required
Personal Attributes Required
-
Minimum 10 years relevant industry experience

Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance or similar field
-
Have gravitas to accept full fiscal reporting responsibility both internally and externally
-
Understanding and
experience of working in a remote office or in international locations,
with proven track record in the oil and gas recruitment industry would
be an advantage

Professional
appearance and sound communication skills with ability to articulate
thoughts and concerns in the appropriate manner

Ability to multitask with good analytical and presentation skills

Maintain a sense of urgency and accountability, taking the initiative to make a difference through ownership of the task

Cross-cultural awareness and ability to adapt to different team environments

Proficient in English language both written and spoken
