Responsibilities:

Reporting to the CFO, the selected candidate will ensure effective running of the Accounts Department. Duties include:

Managing daily accounting operations and lead Accounting Team (comprising of AR, AP and GL, Banking and Inventory sections).
Preparation of monthly financial statements for Group reporting and other deliverable
Proactively identify issues and implement process improvements to streamline accounting process
Assist the CFO in formulating and reviewing accounting processes / policies throughout the company to ensure accounting and financial reports accurately reflect the conditions of the business and provide reliable information for control and management purposes.
Other ad hoc or duties as and when assigned

Requirements:

Minimum 5 years' working experience in industry, preferably retail sector or an accounting firm ;
Mature with the ability to work independently ;
Possess excellent leadership skills, analytical mind and strong interpersonal skills ;
Ability to work under tight schedule ;
Member of a professional accountancy bodies.
Experience in ERP systems, especially Pronto would be advantageous.
