Australian Volunteers International (AVI) is a Non-Government
Organization working in Vietnam since 1985. AVI’s program is oriented
around bringing long-term Australian volunteers to help build the
country’s capacity in education, economic integration and governance as
well as environment and climate change.
AVI is looking for a qualified Vietnamese to work in its Hanoi office
as Finance and Administrative Officer. This is an indefinite term
employment contract with a 60-day probation period.
Finance and Administrative Officer

Responsibilities:
Working under the direction of the Country Manager with some
supervision by the Senior Program Officer, the Finance and
Administrative Officer is responsible for day-to-day administrative and
financial support to the Volunteer Program in Vietnam.

Support the financial management of the Hanoi office by issuing and
following payments to service providers as well as volunteers, preparing
monthly acquittals and other financial reports as well as managing the
office supplies and assets.

Provide administrative and financial support to such programs as the
Volunteer Assignment Support Fund and the Community Grants Scheme.

Follow the volunteer Monitoring and Evaluation process of volunteer assignments and other security requirements.

Track the recruitment and assignment process of all new volunteers.

Provide logistic support to CM and staff for field trips, travels, volunteer ICOP and other events.

Provide reception and administrative coordination for the office.
Requirements:

University Degree in a relevant field.

Accomplishments, skills and knowledge in office finance and administration.

Computer literacy in Word, Excel and any database software or application.

Strong communication and negotiation skills.

Fluent written and spoken English and Vietnamese.
